The Learn to Row program is designed to introduce participants to the sport of rowing in crew boats and teach proper sweep rowing technique for anyone that has no prior rowing experience. The program includes 10 hours (5 x 2h) of small group coaching and will cover equipment handling and safety, getting in/out of the boat, stroke sequence, rowing, backing, turning and docking.
Participants must be 18 years or older, and for safety reasons must be able to swim 50 meters. There is a maximum weight for rowers in our teaching boats of 220 lbs. Rowers will benefit from having the flexibility to squat for getting in and out of the boat.
You do not need to be a member of the club in order to participate in the Learn to Row program.
Cost: $475 for group of sessions
Safety: All Learn to Row sessions are taught by a qualified coach.
Benefits: Rowing is a great sport that stresses the importance of teamwork and commitment to a crew, as well as improves fitness.

Rescheduling Policy:
Up to a week before the start of your session, there is no charge for date changes.
Rescheduling less than one week before, and through the last day before the start of your session, rescheduling your session is subject to a $35 Move Fee. The Move Fee will be waived if there are participants on the waiting list.
We cannot accommodate rescheduling requests as of 00:01 am the morning of the first day of the session.
Please note that we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests, however, rescheduling to a preferred session is subject to availability.
Cancellation Policy:
Up to a week before the start of your session, cancellations are subject to a $35 Refund Fee.
No refunds will be given with less than a week before the start of your session.
