Diversity and Inclusion Fund

Although the Argonaut Rowing Club (ARC) is part of the fabric of Toronto and the rowing community, its membership as yet is not representative of the thriving, diverse community of Toronto that it serves. It is critical that ARC continues to be a voice that not only furthers diversity in the sport, but exemplifies an environment where both members and employees feel comfortable and supported to be their authentic selves.

ARC’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee was established to foster a more inclusive and diverse environment within the Club, working to ensure that athletes of all ages, races, sexual orientations, cultural and societal backgrounds, and abilities, reflect the make-up of Toronto and that all have equal opportunities to participate and excel in rowing and feel welcome and supported.

Donations will be used for outreach efforts and to provide support for those for whom membership and other fees are a barrier to participation.
